ISSUERS: countries and territories that issued coins

COINS OF SUCH ISSUERS DEMONSTRATED IN THE COLLECTION (countries and territories)

ISSUERS: countries and territories that issued coins

The coins displayed on this numismatic website cover all historical periods and every corner of the planet Earth. This is exactly the idea of my collection: I chose the theme of the numismatic collection so that the visitor could get acquainted with the coins of all times and peoples in one place.

Specifically, this page lists for convenience the issuers: countries and territories that minted (and in ancient times — casted) coins not only for their peoples, but also (not uncommon) — for dependent lands: colonies, protectorates, vassals…

Some of these states still exist today. Others ceased to exist recently or many, many centuries ago (or even before the Common Era).

Sometimes it is difficult to attribute one or another coin (mostly ancient or medieval imitations) to a particular state. Therefore, as is customary in other numismatic sources, indicated approximate data — cities or territories where the coin was made most likely.

The main theme of the collection is one coin of different names (denominations). However, the systematization of the collection also by issuers, I'm sure, will not be superfluous.

Enjoy!
